Natural Stone Surfaces has further expanded its reach with the acquisition of Grantech Ltd, a stone fabrication company based in Flintshire, North Wales. The takeover marks an exciting new chapter as Natural Stone Surfaces integrates Grantech into its operations, bringing updated systems, processes, and investment into the 1,700m² site.

Grantech will benefit from significant machinery upgrades, including the addition of a waterjet system that will complement its current production capabilities. As part of the integration, improvements have already begun, including renovations to the exterior and expanding stock lines to better serve customers.

The day-to-day management of Grantech will be overseen by Georgie Beeley, whose extensive experience at Natural Stone Surfaces ensures a smooth transition. With the implementation of the Moraware management software, Grantech is well-positioned to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Natural Stone Surfaces aims to increase Grantech’s output from three to four kitchens a day to up to 10 kitchens daily, strengthening its position in the market.
